Scorched Druid 
Fuego is not the name the fire spirit originally held. Before the flames lapped at his scales and burned his skin, before they left him a charred and crumbling demon, he was a druid practicing within The Viridian Labyrinth. He worked with plants, naturally, his magics meant to nourish and help the slow growth of the flowers and trees around his home. Life was pleasant and serene, as he liked it. But alas, his calm was broken, and his home burned to the ground with him in it by an unknown assailant. His magics flowed through the veins of the plants that caught alight, and he felt the fire's heat long before it reached his cave. The smoke choked him out into the horror of his withering companions, and he was forced to watch the fires eat away at their leaves and bark. Weak with the pain, he settled into the burning grass in an attempt to protect some of his gardens and let the fire consume him; let himself lose to the fire just as his patch of forest had. Unlike the trees (which, to his contentment, have since grown larger and stronger with his original body's ashes to fuel them), he did not grow back. His body was gone, and he was left with a marred spirit, flames still licking from his being; he is always, unfailingly, alight. His limbs are weak and trail ash and soot, often crumbling like they would fall off only to grow back later in the day. Though he is corporeal, he often claims to be little more than a ghost, or shell of what he once was. His affinity with nature is gone, replaced by the very power that killed him, and he finds himself bitter beyond words at the fact. Though he claims the Shade had nothing to do with his resurrection, he has been forced to reside within the Sheep Clan Shade Den nevertheless. Huntress is untrustworthy of the spirit, and forbids him to wander the main camp without close supervision; he tends to just stay within the Den, instead. He does not speak with the other dragons there, having holed himself up in a nook within the cliff's side and not often leaving. He is close friends with Mulciber, however, who visits him on a regular basis. Considering they're both constantly on fire, they get along very well. N/A N/A |
