Guardian
Protects her charge "My charge." She was young, too young, but she could fend for herself. She left early that morning, after the Crystalline Gala. She knew where her charge was. The Scarred Wasteland was waiting, and her charge was, too. She saw her charge while she was patrolling her clans territory with two others, a black, scarred Wildclaw, and an earthy Pearlcatcher. The Wildclaw spotted her first, flaring her crest at the intruder. Stormfront held her head high and flared her crest back, not taking her eyes off of the beautiful Skydancer. She was ethereal, a beauty Stormwatch would have never known had she been a few days later. She looked like a dark sky before a rain, speckled and lithe, a fire in her eyes so reminiscent of lightning she was sure her charge was a storm. Gems glittered amongst her scales and encrusted her feathers. Stormwatch shouldered her way past the screeching Wildclaw. Her charge was far more beautiful than Stormwatch could have imagined. She was royalty. And what was a royal without a knight? She sat down in front of the Skydancer, puffing out her chest and flaring her crest. "My charge." The Skydancer drove her staff directly into the underside of Stormwatch's jaw. Stormwatch made no move against her as she scrambled back. She was about to lunge a second time when the Wildclaw caught her by the shoulder. She whispered something, and they had a hushed conversation. Her charge glanced at her before stepping forward sheepishly. "So you're... my Guardian?" Stormwatch's crest flared wider. She was a real guardian, and this was her charge, there was no doubt. She dipped her head down in respect. She was welcomed into the clan excitedly by the leader. Apparently the clan was mostly pacifistic, and tried to make friend with as many other clans as possible. they had almost no enemies, and none of their enemies had been caused by their own negligence. A few days later, she awoke to the sounds of attack. Someone was attacking her home! Her charge was in danger! Beastclan savages were filling the cave, some of her footsteps broke limbs and weapons as she charged, smacking away fighters and shaking them off her. When she spotted her charge, it was through the glint of a Serthis' spear, covered in her blood. It coiled up for a second strike. Stormwatch crashed into it so hard its spear broke through her thick scales and into her eye, and sent it into a second group of Serthis, knocking out and injuring almost all of them. Crashing through their ranks, she tore them apart, sending any beasts still standing through the caves entrance in blind terror. Her charge healed quickly, although the healers admitted a second blow would have been fatal. She leaned down, touching her snout to her charge's. Her charge leaned against her huffing happily.
