KANE
Wind and water Geomancer. Kane ensures that the Pearl Empire's primary lairs are constructed in harmony with the energies of the earth. By using his pearl as a meditation focus, he directs the alignment of rooms, doors and fixtures in the lairs so as to maximise the Empire's fortunes. As a result of Kane's efforts, the Empire's primary lair at the base of the Beacon of the Radiant Eye is a wonder to behold - miniature waterfalls grace the gently rounded corners of each room, and an enormous eight-cornered mirror takes pride of place in the western wing, reflecting the dark energies emanating from the Hewn City and the Tangled Wood beyond. However, Kane has had less luck with the design of the Empire's secondary lair at the edges of the Hewn City - his carefully installed fittings will often move, break or even disappear of their own accord... |
