How it all began..

______ One late full moon, Shimmerscale found himself alone in the woods, where all peace and serenity could not be found to anyone but the dragons of the Shadowbinder. Yet somehow, he found what others couldn't and enjoyed the glowing streams of moonlight kissing the tainted earth.
There was no one to judge him for his mixed heritage in the Wispwillow Grove. No one ever knew he went there for solitude when he needed to get away since it would be least expected from a Nature dragon.

From his desire for solitude and as time went on, Skydancer's trust grew thinner with many dragon-kin but not when it came to his mentor. His mentor was a lovely Imperial female to whom he slowly fell in love with. But as time went on, and his infatuation grew, he never made a move; because of this, he lost his chance with the most gorgeous female he thought he'd ever know.

Even though he was growing ever more untrusting and cold over the next decade, he assumed nothing would change and that his lonely pursuit in life with no real direction would feel like an eternity. That is until he stumbled upon a young female Skydancer who was still a hatchling at the time. He took her in and cared for her begrudgingly, for at first she was worse than a burden to him, but slowly he began to enjoy her company and later fall in love with her when she grew of age.
