Personality: Archleone was the main tactician and military general on the side of the Abyss during the Shattered War. Before the Abyss, she was an intelligent and quiet disciple of Death that had a secret crush on Malik. But after exposure to Abyssal energy, her infatuation with him became cruel and twisted. She developed a sadistic side that would stop at nothing to get rid of her perceived rivals in love and to accomplish Malik's goals. Malik never returned her affections, much to her dismay. She is most often remembered as a ruthless force on the battlefield; her tactics are still studied to this day. It is believed that as a former disciple of Death, she used her knowledge of her former allies' habits to her advantage. She is also credited as the creator of several paintings depicting the Abyss, which are now displayed in the art gallery section of Chasm Peak's Gilded Hall. History: Just like many other disciples of Death, Archleone was a survivor from an inter-clan war. She joined the Death Flight toward the end of the Godless Wars and devoted herself to her newfound family. Over the years she met Malik and developed a crush on him, but was too shy to say anything. Once the Abyss appeared, she decided to accompany Malik on his expeditions as a sort of bodyguard. However, the corruption of the Abyss proved to be too much, and slowly she was twisted into a dangerous version of her former self. When Malik declared war on the Four, she stood loyally by his side. With the research he had accomplished, she was able to lead swarms of Abyssal creatures onto the battlefield. She also was a key figure in the Duel of Death, where she faced off one-on-one against her former ally Dopson, the one known as the War God. This day-long duel ended in a draw as an earthquake eventually caused both sides to retreat. Malik was eventually captured, and the Madness Flight began to fall apart from internal strife. She attempted to keep order, but eventually her heartbreak consumed her and she offered herself as the final sacrifice to the Abyss. With her death, the legions of Madness could no longer stand against the Four, and the war was officially over.
