Poinsett

Poinsett was discovered by Excalibur, fatally wounded in a forest after having lost a battle to some basilisks. The Skydancer lifted his head weakly and growled menacingly at the approaching Tundra dragon.

Despite his grievous wounds, Poinsett still had some left in him. It was not long before his vision went dark. When the dragon opened his eyes once more, he found himself in Excalibur's hut, all bandaged up and with his wounds healing at a slow rate.

When asking as to why Excalibur went through the trouble of healing him, the Tundra dragon replied with a soft tone that he couldn't just let him succumb to his wounds and die. Although still a little wary, Poinsett soon developed a strong friendship with Excalibur, eventually becoming spiritual brothers.

Poinsett then revealed later on to Excalibur that he got separated from his own brothers and sisters of the Light and, when looking for them, the dragon was ambushed by the basilisks.

The dragon was given the chance to seek out his own brothers and sisters, but decided to remain with Excalibur and his family, serving as a guardian. It wasn't long before the Skydancer found interest in the dragoness, Sapphira, and started to court her.

Although she was a tough cookie, the determination and persistence of Poinsett prevailed as it was enough to impress her, eventually leading to the two to mate.
