She is very mysterious. Nobody knows a ton about her, except, dang, she's cool, and knows a ton about pottery. Mayall mostly became a part of this clan of incredibly weird dragons because she was trying to fry a rock when she bumped into Mojave and Seraphine. They all then tried frying rocks for like three hours before they landed on the conclusion that frying rocks may not be possible and also why is a Shadow Dragon this far into to the Hewn City.
Since then Mayall's been a part of the clan. She doesn't seem to like getting into what her past was like, and it's possible she doesn't like thinking about it. She's very direct, pretty much to a fault and sometimes is too direct or blunt with people, but that's because she's very terrified of lying, which seems odd for a dragon of the shadow element. Maybe that's why she doesn't live in the Tangled Wood anymore...
She says that she studies "the dark"...she doesn't say much of what else she studies besides that.
