Leeha inherits.

She pricked the pad of her claw on an arrow tip and watched the blood bead, as dark and viscous as molasses. Her mother was an idiot, and Sighró should have taken her blade and done what was necessary years ago—the sentimental, idle fool. Too late now, though; Leeha could hold her own against violence. As gentle a horror as her life had been, they'd still managed to make sure of that.

In times past, her protests fell on deaf ears. This taught her that words were useless, and the only way out was action. Her inheritance wouldn't spend itself, after all.
