Velvet

Velvet is a mystic and a gentle soul. She has been known to stop everything to help a dragon who was down or upset. Her clanmates say that just being around her is soothing and comforting. Velvet is also an artist, and has made several of the paintings that decorate the great hall of the Lair. In her care hatchlings quiet and become happy, even when they had previously been crying inconsolably. When asked why she feels the need to always help others, Velvet simply replies "I just care. It's what I do. It's who I am."

Velvet knew she liked Glade. And after months of walks and small gifts, when Glade began to court her in earnest, she knew she was falling in love. Now Sweet mystic Velvet is waiting excitedly for her turn on the nesting ground, and dreaming of what their hatchlings will look like. "I've always wanted to be a mother, but I thought it would happen similarly to how it has for Fondar. To be a mated dragon was never in my thoughts, but now I wouldn't have it any other way. Glade is wonderful."
