B I O G R A P H Y

GoldenShimmer is in charge of the hatchery. She takes care of the eggs when the parents aren't around and alerts everyone when a nest is hatching. She likes to keep the hatchery nice and clean. She is also the representative of Light, but she doesn't want to be it.

_Light and Dark_

____Almost every single one of GoldenShimmer's siblings looked identical to her. Her mother shared a great resemblance with all of her children. GoldenShimmer's original clan was very chaotic with all the look-alike children. The thing that separated GoldenShimmer from the rest of her family, was the fact that she is blind. GoldenShimmer was born blind. According to her mother it was Lightweaver's blessing, but GoldenShimmer thinks if it was Lightweaver's blessing, then all she would see would be white or yellow. But like any other blind dragon, all she can see is nothing. Now with her position as the Light Representative, she has to look through her tragic memories in order to recall the festivals and events of her past. But now her memory is starting to fade and she may be no longer up to the task of organizing the party of the Brightshine Jubilee. Luckily though, she has been recently assigned a young assistant to help her out.

_Mother of Light_

____The day GoldenShimmer decided she had enough of "light and purity" she figured she'd get leave to the exact opposite of her homeland. the darkest place in the world known as the Tangled Wood. The journey there was tough, since she was blind and alone. To get her destination, she followed the edge of the forest north until she knew the vast grass fields were to her right. Then she turned and began her journey into the dark woods. GoldenShimmer noticed a couple things the further she ventured into the forest. The warmth of the sun no longer warmed her scales, leaving her colder than comfortable. Then there was also the weighted humidity and moisture. The Sunbean Ruins are so dry that the change in atmosphere made her chest feel heavy and her feet feel sticky. When a member of the Draggle clan offered her shelter, she accepted. There, she felt like she fit in with all the other dragons. Eventually GoldenShimmer gave herself the job of taking care of the hatchery and all the young dragons. She wants to make sure all the dragons get to choose their own world to live in.
