Song Alias Gatherer | Prosthetist Originally from the Sundial Terrace, Song developed an interest in robotics at an early age. Although he spent his early years trying a bit of everything, he soon discovered his true talent lied in prosthetic and mechanical limbs. An ambitious dragon, Song set out to polish his skill until he was well known across all of Sornieth. The lack of engineer in his clan was his main obstacle, but far from being discouraged, Song learnt all he could from books. He would acquire the necessary materials on his own and spent most of his time locked away with his tools. Because of this, he never truly bonded with any of the clan members, nor did he ever feel the need to. After some time, Song felt he was being restrained by his peers, who did not share his interest in the slightest. Like many residents of the Light territory, there eyes were turned on the ruins that dotted the landscape, reminders of the past and holders of many secrets. But Song was blind to their beauty and taken by his work. After deciding he had learnt all that could be learnt here, he got permission to join the Lightning flight, were he hoped to be taken in as an apprentice. To his frustration, Song realized that while he had been considered a prodigy home, in the Shifting Expanse he was average at best. Being a prideful and determined individual, Song refused to go back home, knowing he would never be able to live down a failure. He was eventually taken in by Lulit, in exchange to serving as a material collector. While she provides him a home, Song is apprentice to a dragon from a neighoboring clan and shares the title of apprentice with another 30 dragons. The competitive environment is proving to greatly motivate him he has been making incredible progress since his arrival. |
