The Royal Summit
As a child, Mavir had an accident that he never goes into much detail about. Somehow, he came into close contact with the shade and his magic was stolen, the markings on his hide are scars from when it bubbled off of his body. He fled, and found his new home on the island. Meeting Rosalind for the first time, he was distant and didn't wish to get close to anyone. However, Rosa won him over with her persistence and care, and he can't help but feel as if she would have been his charge, had he not been stripped of the ability to have one as a child. Mavir is deeply interested in philosophy, and often stays up late reading the works of great masters. He doesn't mind the feeling of Rosa's back touch his as she sleeps.
