Balthazar
'Not everything is as it seems... belive me, I know'

Balthazar has no memory whatsoever of his hatchlinghood. He was born from a chemical spill, a discarded cauldron thrown out by an alchemist disappointed with their latest brew. Hours after the boiling radioactive liquid was thrown at the base of a broken pillar deep in the SunBeam Ruins, a twitching shape appeared from within it. The shape grew in size ver the course of a week, sprouting wings and claws as time passed. When the fully formed dragon finally took his first breath, he looked as if he had lived for months already. As he stood on his own talons for the first time, he blinked in confusion. Where was he? What had happened? He had no memories, no guidance to explain to him what he was, who he was. He had looked around, noticed the overturned cauldron and immediately left. The Bogsneak had wandered through the plains, frightened and alone.

Until, eventually, he had come to the end of the land.

Balthazar had reached the point where the Sunbeam Ruins touched the sea. The sparkling liquid drew him closer, almost as if begging him to leap in. The Bogsneak hissed through his teeth as he put one talon in it. His scales began to liquefy as soon as they touched the water, frightening him enough to leap backwards in shock.
