Born to a pair of metalworkers famed throughout the Ashfall Waste and into a lair of artisans, "Ella" was raised to value creativity and hard work. Like any dragon born into the Clan of Fire and Smoke, Ella was exposed to a variety of crafts from a very young age and encouraged to pick the one which called to her. For Ella, the craft which stole her heart was book binding. So, she was quickly apprenticed to the clan's resident librarian in order to master the delicate art of handling paper and leather. Ella was quite content during this time. Her days were filled with learning and at night, the elders would regal her and the other hatchlings with tales of their exploits in the days of their youth. The stories took ahold of Ella, and she decided that she would one day too journey and find her own adventures.

After the end of her apprenticeship, Ella felt it was time for her to leave the clan of her birth and travel to the far reaches of Sorneith. Now Ella finds himself employed in the [fill in name here] clan. While she is working on a project, she can get lost for hours creating the perfect shell for a book. Ella believes that each book has an essence that must be properly displayed. But, once a project is done, she enjoys captivating hatchlings with wild tales at night around the hearth.
