The second of two abandoned wildclaw eggs to hatch to a small clan, Denris instantly bonded to the other dragons and learned as much about them as he was able. With the encouragement of the clan founders he was able to cultivate a rare form of gembonding- forming enlarged scales to represent each new member as they joined the clan, and shedding it when they left to join the LightWeaver. The central nest of the clan is lined with all of the shed scales, passing the history of those who had gone before to the new lives to be born.
