Born with accursed genes that give her a soft pastel coloration, Rozalin is a morose dragon that wishes to have been born with a striking dark plumage instead. She works as a phytotoxicologist, the study of poisonous plants. She surrounds herself with decorum as gloomy as she, reflecting the true color of her soul.

She can forgive her horribly soft and gentle colors, though, as it's what brought Hanami to her. Struck by her gentle looks, he sheepishly approached her, perceiving Rozalin to be as anxious as he. This was not the case, but the two slowly grew fond of each other, and now are inseparable lovers. He's the only dragon she's ever delicate yet genuine with.

Rozalin is often found tending to her garden, all of poisonous and some even deadly plants. As a plague dragon, most of the toxins don't hurt her as much as they would others. She still uses proper safety gear, as Hanami worries for her otherwise, and to see him upset hurt her. She only has one sign warning to the danger of her garden, to which she says, "if anyone wishes to play in it, they can find out for themselves why they shouldn't have."

Aside from gardening, she's into writing gloomy poetry and collecting strange and macabre trinkets. As she's quite introverted, and not a good conversationalist, many see her as curt and a little strange. Rozalin doesn't have many friends, but tends to insert herself in Hanami's friend groups. He mostly socializes with other gardening dragons, so they enjoy Rozalin's conversations about work.

While her main area of study is for dangerous plants filled with toxins, she does have an interest in the medicinal plants that Hanami grows, especially for the ones used in teas. Oftentimes she tries to brew some healthy teas for him, which he will happily drink, despite it being bitter from not being steeped properly and filled with bits of the plant. If you add enough sugar and are filled with enough love for Rozalin like him, then perhaps it can taste rather sweet after all.

She lives south of Axial Hill with Hanami, close to the community gardens. She has a mini alchemy lab to practice with, despite not being much of an alchemist.

Name origin: Rozalin means pretty rose (and also means 'gentle horse')
