Shrike got their strange melted wings and scales when they came in contact with an experimental and dangerous acid that killed most the dragons that came in contact with and left the live ones with scars. Shrike however, neither died nor got scared by the acids. Instead gaining the ability to be a living creator of the substance. No one is entirely sure why.
Shrike likes magic tricks. Not, like, magic-magic, but things like sleight of hand, card tricks, and so on. He's not very good at them though, as his slime tends to mess him up rather than help him.
