Biography
Not much is known about Kuoa past his name. He keeps mostly to himself with self proclaimed job description of making problems 'disappear'. His only known relations are a Firemane Manticore named Tian and a business partner - an imperial named Mako.
Kuoa watched with almost a lack of interest at the scene before him. The man - a tundra with a messy mane and chipped horn - knelt before him begging; at his feet a bag of treasure that had spilt to the floor. He could hear the words coming from the kneeling man's maw, but any sort of empathy was lost in his expressionless stare.
The words still tumbled from the smaller dragon's mouth though.
"Please, give me just a bit more time!" and "I'll make it up to you! Just leave my family out of this!!" were words thrown to the wind.
Kuoa finally pushed himself away from the wall he had been leaning on as he gauged the sight. He knelt down to the tundra's level and made eye contact with the man as he spoke.
"Three hundred thousand treasure a week was the agreed upon price -" he stated as he lifted his right hand to thread through the man's long mane. He let his fingers curl in it gently as he continued. "- and for the past four you've been only showing a hundred thousand. This means out of the twelve hundred thousand promised you've duped me on eight."
"I sw-"
A breath slipped from Kuoa as he tugged the tundra's mane back. He shook his head before speaking again.
"This is your last week to pay up the eight hundred thousand, Monte." the imperial let his grip release from the man's hair and stood up before kicking the tundra backwards to the ground. "Better think up quick how you're gonna fix this. Don't want anything happening to that little wife you got."
Monte scrambled to pull himself from the ground and nodded his head feverishly. He gathered his things and nearly crawled out of the room, shoulder past another imperial on his way out. He never stopped.
The new comer watched the tundra flee before turning his eyes to Kuoa. He raised a brow.
"One more week? You don't actually think he's gonna make that all up in a week do ya?"
"No I don't, Mako. He doesn't make enough to even dream of seeing the much in a week. Still, can only push a loan so far till it bleeds you dry..." Kuoa hummed as he scraped up the forgotten treasure left from the man's weekly payment. He curled his lip as he noticed the look he got from the younger imperial. "Being soft doesn't do you good in this business. You'll be eaten alive if you keep that up."
Mako sighed before nodding.
"I'll be seeing you, Mako. I'm gonna drop by the market before I head home... Tian would love a gift."
