Maelstrom

Once a young Fae dragon, first son of the clan leader and brother to a magical prodigy, Maelstrom had a bright future ahead of him. His life abruptly changed paces however, when a spell went awry and Maelstrom found himself in an unfamiliar body. Now physically estranged from his tiny family, he is large, awkward, and clumsy. Thankfully he is still young and has much time ahead of him to adjust to his unusual growth-spurt. Already he is finding that his larger stature does have some advantages, and in time he may find peace with his new body. Sadly that time is a still a long way off. His insecurities about his size make him timid at best, and petrified of inflicting harm at worst. Were it not for the love and support of his sister, he probably would have left his clan long ago. As it is, he often wonders if he's making the right decision every day that he stays.
