"The 'Pale Phantom'. That's what name I'm known by best if someone doesn't know what it really is. I can't say it's a really creative nickname though, I mean it's just taking from my appearance. No color to me. All pale, apparently ghostly in moonlight. Guess it makes an impact, though.
I lead an assassin's guild called the Men of Midnight. It's an old guild, and I'm its latest master. I got this position in a pretty appropriate way - the former one fell by my hands. I disagreed with the way he treated his men, to say the least. Disagreements get fatal here though, as one may imagine. Less so now than before, but that's thanks to earning respect instead of threatening people with branding irons.
My reputation is a storied one. Plenty of exaggeration, plenty of truth, some absolute lies, whatever other gossip anyone blabbers about...but they do all get one thing right. I'm not the person one wants to have hired to take them out. The 'phantom' bit covers more than the look of me. I pride myself on my skill in stealth. Most don't even see or hear me coming.
