Only in the second generation of the Alloy gene-carrying dragons in his family, Mel is one of the first dragons to have ever been born with the Alloy wing gene. His favorite familiars are Searing Jackalopes, Ragamice (Ragamouse), and Longneck Magi, Mantled Foo, Wispwillow Perytons, Flesh Foragers, Protobeasts, Barking Jesters, Cosmo Geckos, Long-Crested Hippogriffs, Double-Tailed Warcats, Hydraulic Armored Protectors, Windcarve Harpies, Raptorik Freebooters, Book Swarms, and Band of Companionships.
