Biography
Quill
Devoted Shadow Warlock,
Crystal fur of the shadowy swamp he hails from.
A child of the Secret Police, while they play along with their parent's guidance to be clever, heartless manipulators, that none of them really enjoy it. They all have a good deal of magic, and would like nothing more than to escape this life
Able to sense the magical auras of others, and used to be able to shadow-travel like his father, until he gave up this power due to its mental effects.
Empty, inky blackness surrounded him. Quill gasped for air and wheezed, looking around him to try and atone to the abyss he sat in. Shadows swirled around him, sending wispy trails of remnants into the heavy air. His heart thundered and roared in his chest, sending a loud echo into the darkness that he could not see through. Slowly the dragon took a step, tentatively placing one foot in front of the other.
The shadows twisted around his spindly legs as he just stood there, slowly the darkness becoming more visible, he could see shapes, something in the distance-then light blinded him. His mother held the hatchling within her arms, setting him down on the bedding before returning to her place. It was the first time Quill had experienced the shadow realms, and something he would not soon forget.
Born under the secret police he grew up around their ideals, the thoughts that sicken and warped his mind. He walked away from his parents, or at least he tried to, tried to escape the warped and corrupted teachings but no one can escape their past. His magic festered within him, the corrupted teachings whispering to him. Crawling at his twisted mind and whispering their teachings into his ear.
Quill lost it a while go, the magic that runs deep within his veins ebbing away from him as he screamed and ripped up the ground around him. Trying to keep himself sane, just trying to keep himself grounded. Whenever he calmed he noticed the destruction and left the shadowed lands for good, coming to the southern icefields and settling down in uncomfortable silence.

Leaving Clan Ovatae was easier than Quill expected, no spies or secret police sent for him. It was almost odd at first, but soon Quill came to see that he was free from his parents clutches, if not let go of. His parents themselves too focused on upholding the tightfisted terrifying aura of his home to worry about one full trained lost child, Quill was always closer to his mother anyways. Unbeknownst to him, they saw him as successful for stealing the exalt priest pearl and setting off on his own corruptive adventures.
