~~~Raine~~~
The Wild Witch

  • A vicious dragon of unknown origins, Raine is said to have sprung forth from the muck of the Mire.
  • She specializes in the more dubious magical practices. Hexes, curses, voodoo; all forms of her witchcraft draw from the energies in the air.
  • Her vibrant coloring hearkens to the likeness of a dart frog, and she is as poisonous as the resemblance would have you believe. Her claws drip with a kind of paralyzing venom.
  • No one has ever seen her face. Some question if she even has one.

  • Growing up in the wildlands that give her her namesake, Raine knows not the meaning of trust. She is the recluse of the clan, preferring not to come close to anyone save for Aurel- the dragon who found her.
  • Having nearly met her end at the hands of one of the vicious wartoads roaming her previous stomping grounds, but being saved by Aurel, she followed him back to the clan, almost as if she admired his strength.
  • Her common tongue is fairly broken, so she does not speak often. She is steadily learning words through proxy but it's likely that even if she became fluent in common tongues that she would prefer silence.


  • The only time she 'socializes' with anyone in the clan is when they approach her. She makes no effort to seek out anyone of her own volition. Her only company is usually in the form of the various frogs and toads she keeps as 'pets'.
  • This is perfectly fine with her. Her 'brutal' spells generally earn the disdain of any who witness them. Living sacrifices are not uncommon.
  • Raine is the definition of ruthless. It does not take much to get on her bad side, and any who do are not there for long. She "takes care of them".


  • If you manage to catch her interest though, she will stop at nothing to figure out what it was about you that drew her attention. You're not sure if her fixation is good or not.
  • For now, she means no harm. And she won't until given a reason to.


  • The clan takes to leaving her to her own devices, and not asking where all the muck comes from.
