She expects the best, and she pushes others to give the best. She must, of course; how else would others learn what they are capable of? Learning to always put all you can into everything benefits you and the clan. She is strict and stern, and some hatchlings are reluctant to listen to her. For others, however, the small smile on her face and the radiant approval about her when they try their hardest, whether they reach their goals or not, is a prize in its own. Some see her as a sort of mother figure- stern and commanding, but at heart, content and kind.

She teaches older students more advanced subjects. She knows all the tricks and falls for none of them. Students can’t get anything by her, and she rules her classrooms with an iron fist. She is not very forgiving of error (particularly when caused by laziness or cheating) and has led to more than a handful of outlander pupils never making it to full clan status. In the end, most students appreciate the ‘tough-love’ treatment… although maybe not until years or decades later.
