Biography
WENIVIRD
[INFORMATION DEALER | HE/HIM] Pneuma, a Shade Entity who fancies themselves a god, has stolen the soul of Cheveyo to create a new breed of dragon to worship them. Anyone who glances at Wenivird can immediately tell that he's not dragon. Well, not completely dragon at least. If it wasn't the glowing eyes scattered across his neck and chest area that gives it away. He's shaped like an imperial, but the proportions seem off. He seems a little too thin, his claws a little too long. The lighter sections of his scales seem pale and lifeless while the black cherub markings are unnaturally dark. His wounds heal quickly but not before bleeding thick black ooze that melts immediately upon dripping to the ground. The four eyes on his face are almost completely black but glint with a light that few can accurately read. Wenivird wasn't born, he was created. His creator, an entity known as Pneuma, wanted to create their own army of loyal followers. Used in Wenivird and his siblings' creation was the soul of a dragon, a piece of which was given to each of them. Much of that other stuff needed for sentient life was substituted with shade. It worked, but as they matured (far quickly than ordinary dragons), it became clear that their loyalties did not lie with their creator. Wenivird, for his part, was loyal only to himself and his own interests, which didn't appear to align with Pneuma's. Disappointed, the entity cast Wenivird and his siblings aside. With little love for the only others Wenivird could ever accurately call "family", he quickly parted ways. Since "leaving the nest", as Wenivird calls it, he has grown in fame as a dealer of information. It seems as if he has eyes and ears in many places (some believe he simply has connections, while others whisper that he gets his information by use of shade magic). There's little he doesn't know, and he's willing to share, for a price. If given the choice, however, one would be best off avoiding Wenivird regardless of the possibly important information he may have to share. His prices are steep and often hold grave consequences for those who agree to pay it. He currently calls the Hewn City home. Most of the strange monsters and beasts that call the ruins home pose no threat to him. He has gained quite the reputation amongst seekers of specific tidbits of information and his location in the perilous Hewn City has some strategic value to it for if one is desperate enough to brave the horrors of the city, they are more than ready to pay whatever price he sets before them. His nature as a shade-created entity materializes in the magic he uses. It sometimes resembles light magic (possibly thanks to the soul fragment of his light aligned "father") but other times, it's something entirely strange. Using his blood, he can create small creatures made of dripping ooze that obey his every command. Recently, he's taken an interest in souls and seeks to possibly replicate the experiments of his creator but out of curiosity rather than with any specific endgoal in mind.

If you ever grow tired of him, Kiseikune (158071) would be more than happy to take/buy him back, thank you!
