Biography

His parent's wouldn't say he was a disappointment, but they did wish their son did not grow up to be so rash. If anything, Amiri was meant to be a scholar. Someone who studied ancient scripts and scrolls in order to spread his knowledge. A scholar was meant to be curious about knowledge and was supposed to be content wandering to gather more but when it became apart that Amiri's wandering was not bent towards knowledge of books. Instead, their son wanted to learn how to fight. He purposely left home to join in on street fights and ended up winning some money from such adventures. Amiri never lied about his wanderings to his parents. After all, he continued his book studies like they wished during the day. When he was unable to hide his injuries, his parents pulled the plug on his fighting habits. Amiri was locked inside his home and forced to continue his studies. His parents were so concerned with him that they even hired someone to watch him. Sadly, it wasn't enough. Amiri escaped from home and left only a note describing that he hated studying from scrolls and books. He still loved his parents deeply but they couldn't keep him locked away.

After escaping from home, Amiri found himself in desperate need of shelter and food. These things cost money so he gained it in the only way he knew how. The fights were rough and Amiri faced many defeats and many broken bones, but he eventually started to learn from his errors and win. That was when his personality started to finally shine through. He was confident, flamboyant with his dress, and flaunted his intelligence by using big words when in the presence of what he called “brutes”. These personality characteristics lead Amiri into more fights without any winnings. He was considered annoying by many fighters as well as overly confident in his abilities. These attackers then discovered another one of Amiri's secrets. He was a much better fighter than he led on. Most of his studies were focused on strategies, something his parents supported as long as he became an adviser for an army. Practice in the ring offered Amiri the practice he needed and he showed great promise when faced with a fight that wasn't controlled by a referee.

Despite losing several of these non-official fights, Amiri showed to a potential “boss” that he was fast, good with his kicks, and most of all, skilled in the air. He could twist and turn his way around anyone and used his long tail to better his balance and his terrifying claws to deal massive amounts of damage. The lost fights Amiri only became a stronger fighter and was eventually set up as a mercenary by his “boss” who kept half of the profits. Amiri honestly didn't care all that much. He was just happy to be fighting. Until he got caught. A routine “take out centaurs” mission went wrong as soon as Amiri stepped into their ambush. He was caught and dragged to their camp and was going to be used as a bargaining tool. Unable to escape from his bounds, Amiri was sure this was the end. Until a little fae, Ayezi, rescued him. They made quick work of the centaurs together and eventually started to travel. That was when Ayezi caught wind of a clan, the Tyeth, that were hosting a competition to join an elite group of warriors called the Sky Warriors. Together, they went to test their strength against the competition. After several battles and multiple wins and losses, Amiri and Ayezi had done enough to impress the captain of the Sky Warriors, Norgaladir. It wasn't long until Amiri put on his wings and feathered tail with pride and completely abandoned his former “boss” and job. To this day, he makes good use of his new position and has become even more confident His teammates has come to the realization that his confidence really makes who he is as a person slightly unbearable but his skills on the battlefield are nothing to sneeze at. Everyone lets him dress and do as he pleases within reason. For some reason, his fashion doesn't ever ruin his abilities and as long as he remains efficient in a fight everyone can get over him. The only dragon that seems to appreciate his fashion sense and confidence is Haruven, a talented Sky Warrior with the same strain of personality Amiri shows off. Yet both of their talents are not to be sneezed at.
