The hard-working Rashida showed from young age a talent for digging up fine stones. Her original clan quickly put her under studies to learn blacksmithing but the girl wasn't fond of making armor. Very delicate by nature despite her chosen career, Rashida knew deep inside which craft she wanted to follow, and when she revealed her choice of becoming a jewelcrafter, most weren't very excited about it.

A little disappointed in her homeclan's reaction, Rashida decided to leave, under the excuse that she was looking for different gems than the ones found on the Earth Domain. She did however start trying to dig and scavenge different materials from many places around Sornieth. That meant a lot of training to deal with scorching hot mountains, thunderous plateaus, underwater caves among many other challenges. By the time Rashida considered herself a good jewelcrafter she was also a good fighter.

She approached new clans offering both services but refused to stay in clan that would value her physical strenght more than her true talent. It took some time, but she did find a clan that highly valued her jewelcraft skills.
