 Thanguard grew up in the privileged life of a soldier of the Foxfire Brambles. She and her parents worked to defend the Tangled Wood, first as Sentries, yet soon Thanguard was promoted. She stopped an Abyss Striker from entering the sacred lands of the Shadowbinder, and was soon guarding the Forum of the Obscured Crescent. |

Thanguard found the Forum a dangerous and severe place. Most dragons among her were fierce and strict, and demanded the most out of her, even though she was a newbie. Thanguard tried to keep up with the others, but she constantly found herself bullied and pushed around. Because of this, Thanguard started going off on her own, wandering around the poorer areas of the Forum to find herself. It was there that she ran into Thana, a lonely Wind Flight Mirror dragon. Thanguard fell for her at that moment. Soon they were spending most of their days together. Thana was sweet. She was protective and careful and playful. She reminded Thanguard to adventure and go after her own desires. But soon Thanguard uncovered a hidden truth. Thana was part of a mysterious group of Mirror females who stole from the rich and gave to the poor. And of course, Thanguard’s family were part of the elite. It hurt Thanguard to see her one true love embarking on heists and diving into the world of evil, especially because Thanguard had once seen the innocence in Thana’s eyes more clearly than her own thoughts. But soon Thanguard started to believe Thana’s beliefs. One night, while Thanguard was sleeping, she heard a creak at the door. Upon investigating, she was surprised to see Thana, creeping in to steal some gold. Thana had no idea that this was where Thanguard lived, yet the two argued so loudly that soon several other soldiers woke. When they discovered a thief, they urged Thanguard to kill her, but she stood strong and protected Thana. Furious, the soldiers pursued Thanguard and Thana, but they escaped and fled into the night. They had nowhere to go. Thana eventually convinced Thanguard to live with her group of rogues in The Hewn City. However, Thana told Thanguard that she wasn’t allowed to have a partner, so they had to keep their relationship under wraps. In the group of rogues, Thanguard saw how alive Thana was. She acted like her perfect, good-natured self. She was among friends, and it made Thanguard jealous. One morning, they had an argument, and Thanguard let it slip that they were a couple. Unfortunately, one of the rogues heard her, and the two were cast out of the group. They wandered through the dangerous Hewn City all alone. Thanguard could see how mad Thana was at leaving her friends behind, but she was trying not to show it. Worst of all, they had no safe place to go. They tried to live in the Hewn City, but life was hard. Finally, Thana told Thanguard another secret she had hid. Thana lived in a lair of Light. They came to the Lair of Lost Luminlings, and finally they were able to find a safe haven. They made up, eventually, and lived happily for many years in their new home. Eventually Thana asked Thanguard to marry her. They had a glorious wedding at The Beacon of the Radiant Eye. Thanguard had never felt so complete.
