There are two.

One drapes her wings in delicate gossamer, twines their soft threads around her limbs and crowns her head with the gentleness of daisies. Her every movement is precise, for she knows how she is being watched, and her breath is a whisper of silk lest she give herself away to those who she knows to be listening. For years, she was trained to be the epitome of grace. Now, she is beautiful in the way that stars are beautiful; shining, brilliant, and distant, a guiding light admired by many, but only from afar. Nobility is a fragile thing; her every smile is a crack that she must mend with liquid gold.

The other dons armor forged with cunning wit and indomitable will, her helm a steel gaze that can pierce through any lie. She has a hundred pairs of eyes and ears that watch and listen from the shadows, a tongue that holds an arsenal of weapons— her favored blades are of secrets that aim true, and the rapier of patience that can stretch as thin as a shadow at dusk as it waits for the right moment to strike. She has spent countless hours teaching herself the art of duality, of manipulation and deceit. For this, she is beautiful in the way that a lightless night is beautiful; dark, cold, and mysterious, concealing the dangers ahead. Those who fall for her traps do not know until it is too late.

There are two, but Lady Lucis always knows who she needs to be.
