Biography

Hidden away in the Kiradeki Clan's territory is a massive, deep ice cave. Venturing in leads one into a winding path of tunnels carved into the ice, almost as confusing as a Spiral dragon's lair, but bigger. A sense of foreboding presses into one's mind as they traverse the tunnels which twist and turn into the snow, boring farther and farther down until eventually, the shimming ice walls give way to smooth, carved stone. No light reaches this far down, and after stumbling through the darkness for a while, small glowing crystals begin appearing on the walls and floor of the cave. It thins here, making larger dragons have to crouch for a ways, before it finally opens out into a large cavern with a massive plinth of glowing stone in the center. A hot spring bubbles up around the plinth, filling the air with warm, wet steam, and strange glowing plants cling to the stone walls. A thick, lush carpet of swampy grasses blankets the cavern, warm waters pooling in some places, attracting diverse cave dwelling species of fauna. A trio of pure white Bogsneaks live here as guardians to this hidden gem, their eyes ill adjusted to the light outside of their downright magical home. At first, all three are hard to find, hiding away within the thick plant life. Finding them does have it's perks, however. Only then is it made clear, through telepathy, that the foreboding that greats trespassers to the cave system is their attempt to dissuade potential threats away. All three are mute, using their minds to speak instead, directly into their guest's consciousness. Whisper, the proud father figure to any young ones the trio has, is much quieter than his mates. He has a dark sense of humor that bounces between narcissism and self-loathing when directed at himself, and an almost clinical manner of thinking. He favors the logical and straightforward choices over some of the more creative ones, and typically means exactly what he's thinking. His blunt personality can cut like a knife at times, even occasionally hurting those he loves. While he doesn't always show it, Whisper loves both of his mates equally, taking quiet moments when the trio is alone to curl into them and remind them of this. |
