B I O G R A P H Y


______ This room seems to have once been used as a library or observatory, perhaps by a magister? After spending some time flipping through old volumes, blowing dusk off of artifacts and rummaging through the contents of the old cabinets and drawers, you make your way to the desk at the far side of the room, a large stained glass window illuminating its surface. At first you see nothing of note, really. Moth eaten quills, more dusty books, stained parchments. A glimmer catches your eye, and you move one of the wrinkled sheets aside to reveal some sort of gemstone!

______ It seems almost... alive? Swirling patterns decorate the stone and you could swear the air around it was getting warmer. Grabbing it to get a closer look, you could swear you saw movement... was that a face...?

______ Suddenly the stone ignites, burning you in the process. You drop it with a shriek and it shatters, a burst of magic blowing you across the room. Blearily you find your bearings and pull yourself to your feet, your sight still swimming from the impact. The cloud of smoke and dust floating around the room isn't helping much either. Looking back towards the desk you- wait.

______ A dragon is bracing himself against the desk, coughing and muttering desperate prayers to the Tidelord. As you take a startled step back your foot crunches on a shard of glass and he spins to face you.

______ "You! My savior. I have been trapped in that accursed soul gem for so many years I've lost count. This place was my abode once, but now..." The Coatl looks around the room sadly. "Well. It may be time to start anew. The world is different now, perhaps. Might you be able to advise me on a new place a dragon such as myself could call home...?"
