Pondul is the Goddess of water, though this
excludes bodies of salt water. Mostly meaning
the ocean. Pondul has always reigned over these
bodies of water, and has done so in a rather
neutral way. Pondul has never become angry and
prevented waters from one area or another. She
has always treated each area with equal interest,
loving the water all the same.

Pondul is a sad soul though, a sad Goddess. Strange
for a God in fact. Despite being incredibly wise like
Gods, this sadness is pretty unbearable for her. So when
it rains, a dragon knows the Goddess is crying. She weeps
almost constantly and it allows water to the lands.
At times she weeps excessively and it causes flooding
to the lands. When this occurs, the dragons often send
a messenger to Pondul, requesting her to stop, typically
she does, sometimes she doesn't. Certain areas may flood
more than others depending on Pondul's current location.

Another factor of her is droughts. When there is a drought
it means Pondul is in a calm state of mine. She is passive
with herself at the time and feels no need to cry. This
causes droughts throughout the lands. Before dragons
knew of the Goddess, they would do rain dances. Pondul
absolutely adores rain dances, so much that it makes
her happy and she weeps once again bringing rain to the
lands. Merely out of her own happiness. So instead of speaking
to Pondul, the dragons only perform rain dances in hopes
that she will weep to bring water.
