Biography

Role: Consort/Mistress of the Palace Gardens
Association: Court of Eos

3505.png

Selene had always been curious about the land across the sea, glinting like a jewel on the horizon. The sun would rise and it would shine, the moon would rise and it would glimmer. How it captured her imagination. Surely such a glittering land would be filled with wonder, beauty beyond reckoning. She was filled with wanderlust, and the Starfall Isles was the only destination she had in mind.

Lucky for her, her travels were not lonely. for wherever Selene went Polaris would follow. Ever since the two had hatched, they had always been together. Those blue wings seems to enshroud her earliest memories like a blanket, and the sight of them always gave her comfort. She knew that together there was nothing they could not accomplish, and so wingtip to wingtip they flew across the sea towards adventure in a glittering, magic land.

It was there that they learned about an elegant court ruled by a gentle queen, in a palace hewn of crystal. The princess of this court, Eos, welcomed them, taught them the ways of the court. They learned of music, tea, dancing, and poetry. Their learned of magic, alchemy, and sorcery. And it was in this beautiful land that they fell in love with the princess and vowed to stay by her side. They protected her when the queen's chancellor turned against Eos, and they flew beside her as they fled to the Southern Icefield. They became her foundation as she set up a new court, and sought to give her guidance as she negotiated with the Serac Field Clan.

In this new court Selene took on the task of overseeing the palace's gardens and fields, so that they were carefully nurtured. This was a cold but beautiful land, and Selene took great pleasure in crafting various different gardens to give Eos comfort and happiness. The fields of winterbelle flowers were most loved, especially when used as a setting for Polaris' minstrels. Selene felt a peace she had never felt as a hatchling in the Windswept Plateau. The wanderlust had settled, and this cold land began to feel like home to her.
