They had barely even taken a look at their father's face when they were taken away.
Blindfolded, picked up, placed elsewhere. The defeated noises of a parent who knew he could not save any of them. They had barely had lived an hour and already knew the meaning of the word 'pain' before they even knew the word.
One of them had been separated from them, had been blessed as an apprentice. The rest of them had been ordered away lest they face exaltation. Perhaps some other clan would be merciful enough to take them in before they would see the light face in the Scarred Wasteland.
Krov is the rambunctious one out of the litter. Loud and not afraid to voice his displeasure when things do not go his way. Absolutely not afraid of attempting to bite off the nose of the Skydancer that tried separating him from his siblings, of his father, of his family. Didn't care even the slightest bit when scolded.
Underneath the rambunctious parts, however, rests a very intelligent Skydancer, one whose potential in Plague magic rises even greater than his sisters. Of course, he cannot control it for one bit now, but maybe one day...
