    Initially travelling to the Tangled Woods to gather stories before moving on, something about the place rooted Jade. A large part of it was the library of the clan he found himself a part of. The librarian, Dulse, assured him that the library had been much grander before the clan was supposed to move, but even in it's dilapidated state to Jade it was a thing of beauty.

    Mistral agreed to stay with her mate and make the library their base of operations. As soon as they were settled in Jade got to work. Working at speeds only possible with the help of his magic, Jade copies every volume of new material that passes through the lair. From children's books to philosophical texts and mechanical drawings, Jade copies everything he gets a hold of.

    When there is no new material to add to the library's collection, Jade takes it upon himself to add his own. He will take down the stories Mistral has collected and add the results of his own studies.

    Engaged in his work as he is, Jade has a strained relationship with his son. He finds Estian's powers fascinating but has a hard time seeing the other dragon as his son and not as a scholarly enterprise.
