What if gods become too dormant, they start to turn to stone? And things like that. Maybe at some point he became too listless and statuesque from the grieving or somethin', and the gembond took root and he began to turn to stone/gold/whatever. D: Sounds like he's arthritic in a way... xD
I wonder if I wanna change his tert to opal or something.
