Biography

6 year old Mire flyer!

Arcane Mire Flyer build

-Why Use a Mire Flyer? Its the fastest way to level up 2 other dragons and while you do you'll get food for your dragons and maybe a few drops of some cool stuff! (It is extremely rare, but I have found eggs, eliminates, rallies, berserkers etc. in the Mire. Not in the same day or week, but it has happened)

Basic instructions on how to use this dragon to level up 2 other dragons.

1. Before you start the 1st round.
Check out your opposition, Restart if you have any of these situations

A. Any Wartoad

-Why? you can't defeat them with this dragon alone without it taking a lot of time
and potions and luck, it's a waste of your time and resources so restart.

B. If you have a mix of a total of 3 of any of these together:
Shellion
Scythe Kamaitachi
Sickle Kamaitachi
Southmarsh Podid

- Why restart do you ask? All of the above can attack on their first round without
powering up. It is very difficult to defeat a group of 3 of them without being fully
powered up, so it's wiser to just restart until you have a good group of enemies that
has at least 1 monster in the group that has to wait until their second turn to attack
since that gives you enough time to build up the breath to attack with eliminate.

2. Start the First Round: Once none of the above applies, it's time to get started to charge up the dragon.
Attack with these moves in this order.
A. Rally this dragon
B. Use scratch 3 times to take out 1 monster that doesn't need to recharge to attack if there
is one in the group you're currently facing (See list in 1. B.) Or the most dangerous ones.
Most dangerous monsters that aren't a boss in my opinion
Salve Kamaitachi, the Wetland Unicorn and Mistwatch Shellion
C. Use Scratch once on each of the remaining monsters.
Special circumstance:
Once in a while it will only take 2 hits to knockout the 1st monster.
If that happened, take out the next monster with 3 scratches in a row.
- note I prefer to take out the Salve Kamaitachi, the Wetland Unicorn and
Mistwatch Shellion next in the group because their attacks can reduce your
power to use eliminate outright or freeze you.
D. Now your Rally should have been used up, but now you can use your eliminate
i. If you missed with any of the previous attacks (unlikely, but it happens) Use Scratch
ii. Once all the monsters your facing have been hit by scratch at least once
NOW Use Eliminate to knock them all out.

3. Second round.
A. Before you start, again, Check out your opposition, Restart if you are facing a Wartoad

-Why? you can't defeat them with this dragon alone without it taking a lot of time
and potions and luck, it's a waste of your time and resources so its just best to restart.
Special circumstance - if you choose to fight the Wartoads:
It helps to be leveling up 1 or 2 dragons that you've been adding stones and VIT
to as they level up. Personally, if I'm training with a Mage I'm more likely to try to take
out the Wartoad for fun, but I usually have plenty of potions to use. Also, the other dragons need to have some VIT (like 10+)
and Quick of 10+ & be above level 15 already for any hope that they'll give me
time to use the potions that I'll need to have them use to recharge the Mire Flyer
dragon to have a good chance at winning.

B. Start your attacks next by using Rally on this dragon
C. Use your charged eliminate on all the monsters & win!

Notes: - You'll get a better idea of how a Mire flyer works as you use them.
- If you run out of breath to use the eliminate, decide if you have a chance to build it up again
before you run out of health, if you think it's unlikely, just restart, its easier.

- Mire flyers can be used in other venues, they're just not as effective in other venues, especially
if they don't have the support of a Mage or another powered up dragon.

- If you choose to use this dragon to grind somewhere other than the Mire, from what I
know Rainsong Jungle and Woodland Path are not a good place to go since this Arcane Dragon is
is weak to the attacks of most of the monsters there.

- You shouldn't need to use potions when using this dragon in the Mire if you start each battle with a high enough health and enough breath for eliminate. Rarely you will face only 2 monsters and have a chance to use Sap to build up this dragon's health. But that's up to you to do. Personally, you have about a 75% chance of winning for a few rounds even if you barely have enough health to fight as long as you have plenty of breath to use eliminate. If your health is low, it may ease your mind to restart so your dragon will not need to eat faster than usual if the monsters manage to land a battle ending hit.

- Remember, using this dragon in any venue lower than Crystal Pools as you try to level up
other dragons will not work.
- why? It's a little lesser known fact that while you can use a level 25 dragon in any venue,
If the level is 5 levels or more lower than any dragon on the team, none of the dragons
on the team will get any level up points.
- Also to note, that while you think that would mean that you get the most leveling up
points per battle in level 25 venues (Kelp Beds, Golem, Portal etc.) The monsters there
need at least 2 hits+ to be taken out. So it takes much more time to level up other
dragons there since it's harder to win without 2 level 25 dragons on your team, meaning
you're limited to leveling up 1 dragon to start. Check out the guides in the forums about
that for any of those venues that you're thinking about taking on.

If leveling up other dragons as Mages or as Warriors, do not put their quick above level 11 as you level then up here (check to see if any stones will effect that number) unless you want them to join this dragon in the line up to fight.
- Why? Because if their Quick is 12 or higher, they're going to step ahead of this dragon at some point but may not have anything to offer to help this dragon out to win the battle except for the chance to use a potion. (the only exception are somewhat leveled up Mages, since if they have an Aid, you can use that to build the health of all the dragons on your team, which is the beauty of having a Mage on the team too.)

Anyhow, good luck and I hope this short guide helped!
