Kol is very excited to see the world! She set off on 3/13/2017! Owned by Nagujaa (#226560). (Add lore for whenever she travels and bring her back to Nagujaa when she wants to come home!)

Kol is a retired soldier, yet she is very young. She was once on the frontlines and was called, ''Kol of Ironbrooke.'' Ironbrooke was a stream near Kol's village that was flooded with iron from the enemy. That was the last straw for Kol, and she led her dragons to victory.

Kol is a now wedding planner. She considers herself plain. Kol has taken the job of wedding planner as she believes she would never have a wedding of her own. Her ultimate goal is to have many living children and to raise them well. After the tragic death of Kol's mother Sengar, Kol is stuck with her outcast of a father, Momi. She is ashamed of her father and doesn't believe him to be innocent. She silently misses her father's company but she blames him for her mother's death.

13/06/18 - Strukla
"Write down my travels? Well I just didn't because- Because..."
Hmn. Why didn't she do so, actually?
The most logical answer would be "because I cannot write nor do I have something on me to write on or with." But the small group of other traveling dragons she encountered on her way to the top of the Windswept Plateau seemed genuinely curious, and to Kol, it suddenly looked like everyone was doing it.
"Because I was too busy doing my own thing; planning dragon weddings!" Quick thinking, Kol, and a good one at that, she thought proudly. The numerous "Oooh!"'s and expressions of amazement and wonder only cemented her lie. Now she really found herself in the center of their attention and they all but forgot about writing journals; now it was all about Kol and the numerous weddings she must've organized from top to bottom.
Except it was all a lie. A lie as thick as a grown Snapper's bodyfat, but she was the only one to know so.

"So how do you exactly do it? Plan?", asked one curious Wildclaw. "Did you meet any cool looking male Skydancers? Ooh, I'd so love to meet a fiery mate...", exclaimed one female Skydancer with a dreamy look in her eyes. "What's a wedding?!", an excited squeal coming from the back; the voice of a young Imperial, a mere hatchling as it turned out. For a moment, Kol wondered who in their right mind actually lets kiddos like these out in the wide world.

Deep breaths, Kol, you can do this. Lying's no big deal.
"Well, you see, you've gotta... You just... First of all... It's... You gotta think of..." But the soft murmur turned into a chatter which then turned into a cacophony of voices, dialects, screeches, growls; any sound a dragon can make, there it was.
A sigh escaped her; how did she even get herself into this mess? Ah, right. Her unfulfilled wish and her big tongue.
Truth is, she really wanted to be a wedding planner, ever since she heard of that strange and mostly unknown custom. But none of the dragons she met on her short time traveling heard about it, and most didn't even want to have anything to do with it, considering it foreign and unnatural.

As she reminisced, the voices around her quieted down, so she wove a story about the only couple she met, a female Wildclaw and a male Ridgeback. Yes, I know. A match made in heaven. But, love knows no shape or form.
The two were only couple she met that were willing to give this strange custom a chance, but things happened in their unstable Clan and the two fell apart before Kol could fulfill her dream.
But, they don't need to know that. As far as the dragons around her knew, it was a grandiose wedding with rose petal flowerfall, white and red ribbons as decorations and a very handsomely dressed bride and groom.

In the end, it would seem the fake story was more than enough for them, as they kept on talking about it among themselves long into the night. As for Kol, she felt tired and sad. She wished for the longest of times to have a wedding of her own, to have a permanent mate, and a bunch of hatchlings to care for. But all of her children were long gone, and with no mate in sight, she felt her heart drop to her paws.

"That was great! I want a wedding now, too!" A familiar squeal to interrupt her thoughts. The small Imperial baby, staring at Kol with it's icy blue eyes and a grin from one whisker to the other. "Momma said you look sad. Don't look sad. Come, I'll pretty you for your wedding!" Such an odd little creature, Kol thought with a smile.
As it turned out, despite being young, this one had a future as an artist; she drew Kol on a piece of parchment and then added something akin to jewelry to her features. "You can go and wedding now!", she added as Kol laughed and laughed. She can go wedding now.

In the morning, they parted, Kol continuing her journey on her own, keeping the parchment hidden in her fur. Perhaps she too will "go wedding now", someday soon.

July, 2018 - Lirillith

The Viridian Labyrinth in summer was no place for a tundra like her. She'd been thinking it anyway, and then there was the voice - "The jungle in summer is no place for a pretty tundra like you."

She jumped, and the skydancer, to her disbelief, winked at her. "But here you are, and here I am, and you probably need a place to stay, right? We've got a great lair, you'll love it - the lightning guys have been setting up these electric fans to cool the place down, and we've got several in the inn now. Come with me!"

He didn't stop talking the whole time, as they picked their way through the jungle to a clearing, and took flight, and flew quite some distance over the jungle canopy. The Behemoth was growing larger, and larger, and... the lair was built right at the base of it? "See, I told you it was great!" he said, sounding delighted at her obvious amazement.

She didn't get a moment's peace until the pink coatl innkeeper detached her from the skydancer's side to show her to her room. "Don't let Ietoro get to you," she said. "He used to be a spiral, and he hasn't slowed down any even after he changed. And he's a huge flirt, but if it's bothering you, just tell him. He'll stop the moment you say so."

"Really?" She hadn't taken that initial pickup line seriously, and if there'd been any further flirting, it got lost in the torrent of words as they'd traveled.

"Oh yes," the coatl said, with a roll of her eyes.

[moved in here permanently; learning to read from Bladetail; does get to plan the occasional wedding, but not a lot of dragons here do weddings as such, so mostly she's planning other celebrations, like seeing exalts off, coming-of-age ceremonies, elemental festivals, etc.]
