Mother's info:
Ruby was quite content to follow Cuprite to The Shifting Expanse to complete his charge. She had fond memories of the expanse from a short time spent there before her wandering took her further west.
She barters her knowledge of grown crystal cultivation and mineral extraction in return for supplies for the travelling family.
Father's info:
Cuprite traveled a great distance from home searching for his charge. Once reaching the Molten Scar he felt that he had reached vaguely the right place, but not the right time, and resolved to travel from clan to clan in the area until he had found his charge. He was joined by fellow wanderer Ruby, and they started a family that wandered the Ashfall Wastes together.
Time passed (but not too much), and one day while delving for ores Cuprite chanced upon a Harpy Prince suffering of heat stroke. After hurriedly treating and rehydrating the Prince, Cuprite learned his story: he had traveled to the Ashfall Wastes with another dragon out of curiosity, but had grown unsatisfied with the climate and wished to return home to the Shifting Expanse. Sensing that this was the charge he had been waiting for, Cuprite at once offered to escort the Prince and see him safely home.
Ruby and a number of their children also made the journey to the Shifting Expanse (3 of them being Guardians also searching for their charges), and the group decided to settle in the region to consult with clan's requiring mining expertise.
