______ Yueguang always watched, observing from the sidelines like a beautiful bird hidden under the guise of illusions. He never was the center of attention. Scratch that. He was once….. Long ago, when his eyes gleamed with happiness instead of cold distinction. But now he was a different dragon, working as a scientist, he was used to things blowing up in his face. Yet, he never did expect his life do the same when he was left a short note in an oddly familiar script.
Yueguang. It has been awhile. I missed you tremendously. Odd to see you with the new pelt but I guess a change was in order after you absorbed the…….. Well. Its best I keep this short and sweet. Your runes, The Doc thinks he may have an explanation. Please come back to the Lair and let the doctor explain it.

______ The note sent him spiralling into a flashback. The cries and screams of the tortured filled his brain as he slashed forward with a talon that struck the evil that was pulsing towards his lair. His bright eyes gleamed with adventure as he spiraled forward, dodging a blast of cold shadow magic that glittered ice onto his fur. He laughed as his wings whipped into the air and he glided down onto the center of the evil. Suddenly a flash of purple erupted and overtook all of his senses.

______ Everything faded. He awoke with strange runes covering his body, and a glowing power pulsing inside him. He had ran, scared everyone would get scared and attack him. He had closed himself off so that no one would learn his secret. And it appeared he was wrong.
Maybe he should go back. Maybe he should, maybe he could be happy. After doing it traveling, Yueguang found a lair in the very thing that had changed him forever, Shadow. He met the love of hi life, Axelle. And now, he actually is happy.
