Biography
The Fae are a plentiful breed, their clans and lairs spanning across, at this point, possibly all 11 regions of the world. However while most Fae eggs hatch within a short amount of time comparatively to the eggs of most breeds, occasionally a Fae egg will go decades without hatching.
Conceived at the very origins of the Fae homelands, the Starfall Isles, Capnella, the second of only two of these known Fae eggs fell from their coastal nest into the harsh depths of the restless sea between the Southern Ice Plains. However by some stroke of luck, the eggs fell upon a warm current, created by submarine volcanoes. This warm current hugged the shores of the Windswept Plateau, meeting with rich waters travelling through caverns and waterways, deep below the surface.
In this miraculous location a thriving coral reef formed, deep below the seemingly hostile waters. While life thrived in secrecy, away from all threats and dangers, the eggs that had nestled themselves deep within the reef slowly developed.
Slowed by the cooler temperatures of the water these eggs took much longer to develop. However after many years in the depths of the Ocean a storm swept the eggs from their hiding place. It wasn't long before they were found and taken in by the peaceful clans of the Zephyr Steppes.
When they were born however, they were different, the power of the arcane magic, the waters of the reef. All of these magical influences had given these Hatchlings Iridescent skin and shimmering wings. Who knows what will await this new breed of Coral Fae, almost as if replicating the battles of the First Era, demonstrating the damage yet creation formed in it's wake.
