Remedy

Remedy is a soft-spoken, somewhat withdrawn Fae who prefers to spend her time in caves rather than with others. Where her mother and daughter thrive on being involved in the clan, she prefers to be left to her own devices, though she does scavenge crystals for those who use them.

She barely remembers her father, but she knows that her mother named her in honor of him, and so she knows from that (And from other stories) that he was a healer.

The story she was told when she was deemed old enough was that he had been a kind, loving Fae who shared his love freely, and everyone accepted that. The one he loved most, however, had been a Guardian by the name of Frost. He had apparently been Frost's charge, the dragon who he would protect with his life-unfortunately, it came to that. Nahele had been scavenging for herbs too far out from the clan and had been attacked and Frost had come to his rescue; but even the Guardian, as massive as he was, had been overwhelmed. When he finally fell Nahele was distraught; he had never failed in healing someone, especially not someone so important to him, and so he didn't try to flee or go for help when his attackers felled Frost. He sat there, numb, and let them overtake him. He had been spotted at that point by his closest friend, AmethystEater, but she didn't manage to reach his side fast enough. She took care of the rest of the attackers (having been a highly seasoned warrior in the past) and then returned to the clan with the ill news and grieved.

It was this story that pushed Remedy into learning how to heal, using energies from the magic crystals that she scavenged to tend to those who needed her aid. She is far from a powerful healer and has a long way to go, but the other clan healers appreciate her help.

She met her mate in Moss, which her mother teased her about mercilessly, as when the new Fae had arrived, following her mother, she had been rather cold to him, and had confided in Murky that she doubted she would ever come to like him. Remedy takes the teasing with a smile, and whenever Moss hears it he always makes certain to cuddle up with her, throwing in his own gentle teasing.
