3P4ueYW.png A young Skydancer witch once gave birth to an egg, and though few, if any, knew who the father was, none asked or objected to her single parentage. As a witch who could do wonders at finding objects, she would make an even better mother. When her egg finally hatched, a little girl of fine dust and petals emerged. Her name became Trinket.

As Trinket grew, she went with her mother wherever she went, and grew a strong bond to the searching of items. She knew she herself had no magic, and this made her more than simply sad. When she finally became able enough to be on her own, she avoided being with others in large groups.

Trinket became a wanderer and a scavenger, searching for food and items to retrieve. Most of the things she returns with she sold to her clan or peddlers, yet saving anything important for those who needed it most. She contributed much, doing more than any before her, yet never claimed the pride such achievements should bring.

Whenever something more than out of the ordinary came to her grasp, she took it to her mother. Objects none could see or thought impossible, things with old and worn out magic. She may not have magic of her own, but it was still tied to her, much like her mother’s was to herself.

In the future, after many seasons pass and thousands of items are found and gathered, Trinket would learn of her own importance, and not deny it to herself. She would become much like her mother, respected and known. But unlike the beautiful yet weathered witch, she would not be feared, and would be more than just a mystery with an amazing gift and great selflessness.
