Paired with Magnolia, they are an eclectic pair of migrants who claim (unconvincingly) that they have found permanent residence. They claim to be guided by a legion of voices that speak to them from within, and that they will lose all power and soul if they remove the masks that cover their faces. They are known for regularly finishing each other's sentences and talking as if they are one mind. Rose's seeming potential for fortunetelling and tarot power seems to exceed that of Lily's, but he has yet to make use of it and instead constantly mumbles about prophecies, arcana, and the Windsinger/Arcanist rivalry.

The other clan members take care to give Rose and Magnolia a lot of personal space.
