 Hellmurk ★ Gray and brown sand, howling winds and endless storms, barren rocks. The Shifting Expanse is rarely seen as a destination spot by dragons outside the element, but to Hellmurk it only made sense. The dry, rumbling clouds that roamed the skyline there seemed to call to him, they felt like they were him in a sense. His rage and frustration rumbled deep within him just like thunder. The Light territories never felt like home, but the bleak lands here embraced him like a brother. INFORMATION ★
STORY ★ Hellmurk was hatched into a quiet Light clan at the outskirts of the territories, just over the boarder from the Shifting Expanse. He was not like his well mannered siblings, who were diligently studying the manuscripts that were brought to them. Hellmurk had no interest in wordy philosophy, his natural talent was fighting. Fighting and fixing. He could repair almost anything. But in his clan there was no love for a fixer or a fighter, his clan was refined and delicate. They were in a peaceful part of the land and aggressive behavior was met with aggressive punishment. Before Hellmurk had even reached adulthood he had severely wounded one of the dragons "disciplining" him, which brought the clan to a crossroads. Kill him, banish him, or try to fix him. The clan, despite their claim to gentleness, had an unforgiving side, which showed its face when the council decided to but Hellmurk to death. They claimed he was a menace to all civil dragon kind and an unsalvageable member of the clan. Hellmurk fought tooth and claw to escape his once clanbrothers and sisters, narrowly escaping with his life. He fled the Sunbeam Ruins into the Shifting Expanse, where he was picked up by a rough group of scavengers. He lived and hunted with them for many years, growing stronger and tougher in the harsh desert environment. Eventually he left the scavengers in search of more substantial work, and was hired on at Dust Bleak station. He immediately took to the lifestyle there, he could put his fighting and fixing skills to work here and thrived doing so. He's been there ever since. | x |
