Etymology
Named after one of Jupiter's moons


Ganymede was born in the clan Augadega and he loved it there, but he also loved to visit their sister clan Comillo de Fuego. Ganymede always loved making armor and the padding for it, but he would always visit the sister clan to use the furnaces.

One day while he was in Comillo de Fuego he met a flame colored male that had moved from another clan that had long since been forgotten. His name was Emberfell and he was quite wonderful and kind to speak with. They met at the Emberlight Inn on Emberfell's first night in the Comillo de Fuego. He told Ganymede that he had trained under a giant, old, and grumpy snapper male who taught him everything that he could ever need to know about metal forging and armorsmithing. But the one thing the old male didn't teach was the leather work and padding which Ganymede specialized in.

From that day forward the two males were inseparable. Their business became very popular throughout the clan. They decided to name their shop the Lava mail.

One day a beautiful fiery colored female came up to their shop window to order a piece of leather work for herself. Ganymede was stopped in his tracks. She smiled at him and introduced herself as Thora. Her soft spoken demeanor and mystic air had him speechless. Eventually he got his wits about him and got her order and her address, along with a date as she sashayed away her fortune teller clothing jingling.
