Shisa

There are two statues in the gardens. Two proud dragons, who watch in silence. Years have coated them in moss, cracked their rocky shells, but they watch nonetheless. And sometimes, when no one is around, they move.
Or they seem to at least. No one has seen it happen, but without warning or explanation they'll disappear. Then, days later, they'll show up again in a new pose, in a new garden.

This statue is the more active of the two, reappearing and disappearing every few days. It can often be found perching on the tops of trees or buildings, locked into poses which would break a real dragon's spine. Originally, the groundskeepers would bring it candy as a joke, and it's now considered tradition to bring it some every time it moves. Its appearance is considered an omen of good luck.
