Shay
The assassin-turned-templar

Shay feels right at home in the Hewn City. He spends all day lurking in the shadows and taking out everyone he views as a threat.

Make sure you don't look suspicious while visiting.


Lore wip.

Shay once worked with the assassins. When he got an order to investigate the mysterious relic that this kingdom possessed, he admired the clan and its residents. He wouldn't want to hurt them in any way.
Still, he reported his knowledge back to the brotherhood. The mysterious relic was indeed the one they had been looking for, and it was guarded by the clan's queen, Ilia.
The assassins began to make plans on her life and rob her of the artifact.

Shay was shocked, and felt betrayed. So he began to seek help from another angle, and found hope in another group, the Templars. The Templars also didn't want the relic in the claws of the Assassins, and helped Shay prevent the attack on the guardian.

And when the time came, it was Shay who saved her life.
Since that time, the kingdom has been loyal to the Templars, regularly helping them out and wholly trusting them.
