Enchantress happily pet the floracat kitten that lay sprawled in her lap, purring peacefully in sleep. Around her, the other young familiars were going about their own business, much of them was also enjoying an evening nap. This was perhaps one of her favorite parts of being a caretaker to all these creatures. After hours of getting all their energy out, they were finally content and ready to rest. Of course, they would be up and about and full of energy again the next day and it would all start again, but that was always part of the fun when raising such young familiars.

Outside one of the nursery's windows the sun was setting, casting a dim light upon the room despite the magic candles (all pleasantly, equally spaced apart) glowing faintly on the walls. The Island of Delphinen was always so peaceful at nighttime, especially along its edges. Below her, Enchantress could hear the calming tossing of the waves.

She could just quite go to sleep as well...
