20112.png Halfmoon was born running. The first of her eggs to hatch, Halfmoon seemed filled with boundless energy. Whether it was helping her parents combat the Emperors and bringing their souls to peace, or helping her older siblings create crystals to store extra magic, her enthusiasm knew no bounds. So when it came time to grow up and choose what to do, Halfmoon was at a loss. What held her attention the most? What could she feel the most passion bubbling to the surface for?
She soon realized her energy was best spent helping take down the abominations that riddled the land of Sornieth. Whether demons summoned from some botched ritual, the creatures roaming the Hewn City in the Lightweaver's territory, or the emperors her parents so focused on, all needed to be dealt with. And she was the one who would take them down. Using techniques passed from her highly spiritual family, Halfmoon hunted, and conquered, and killed. As she continued her work, she found something she could specialize in- the Shade. 20127.png
6611.png The Shade was no longer the formidable entity it once was. It was a rare condition, affecting those only in the most bleak of circumstances. Halfmoon saw it take on many forms, parasites, dragons themselves, an infection. But the common thread to all she'd seen was that those affected by the Shade, whether beast or dragon, became violent. Therefore, they were a threat. She focuses on the shade, not the beast carrying it, but sometimes the two are irreparably linked, and she laments their destruction. On the rare occasion she finds someone with control over the shade, she will leave them alone under the promise to be called back if the control is lost. So far, this callback hasn't happened. She fears the day it does.
